EUROPE CHANTIER Transfer of innovation

The project « EUROPE CHANTIER® Transfer of Innovation » (ECTI) is the continuation of the former pilot project EUROPE CHANTIER®, which has been funded by the European programme Leonardo Da Vinci from 2003 to 2006. This new project Transfer of Innovation has also been granted a Leonardo Da Vinci subsidy over 2 years (2007 to 2009).

Targeting vocational training, the ECTI project aims at :

  • developing EUROPE CHANTIER® in a quality approach; (creating a certification and professionalizing the supervisors)
  • transferring the concept to new European countries and to a broader public.

The outcomes of this quality approach will be:

  • the development of EUROPE CHANTIER agencies on an European, national, regional and/or sectoral level
  • the definition of procedures for the functioning of these future EUROPE CHANTIER® agencies
  • the definition of proceedings for accompanying the organisation of the Euro-Chantiers®
  • the creation of a supervising committee to guarantee the respect of the EUROPE CHANTIER® philosophy;
  • the elaboration of a training program destined to the «Formateurs à l'Europe », the instructors in charge of the European citizenship education
  • the publication of a methodological training guide destined to the Euro-Chantiers® supervisors;
  • the launch of the certification process of the new profession «Formateur à l'Europe » (Instructor to Europe)
  • a certification of the Euro-Chantiers®
